GT-R Push-Button Start

A common mod for many Nissan and Infiniti owners is to swap out the push-button start with the GT-R's red (below). I've done so with my G37. Pretty simple.

Haven't seen any examples of this being done with a Leaf.

Does anyone know if this can be done with the Leaf, or is there something different about the Leaf's push-button start that restricts the mod?

This mod doesn't add 20hp on the Leaf as it does on other cars. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I think the GT-R button is fugly - like a garden tractor start button. The Leaf button in better, IMO.
