I found a set of 1999 Cobra rims (cheap!) and added some 205 50 17s on the front and 225 50 17s on the back.
The center hubs were an exact match and no tire clearance issues. I had one side on the front of the
sand cast brake caliber assembly touch the back of one of the rims just a hair. A quick hit with the grinder
and some silver paint and all is good.

How does it look?

They look great! Did you take any range hit with the wider / taller tires?

Since we are racing the car and it is not a registered for city streets, it was not so much of a concern.
The tires on there now were picked since they have a less of a rolling resistance than the standard Cobra
"squared off" tire with the larger contact patch. We did add a total of 4 pounds over the 16" stock tires
and rims and that was mainly with the larger rear tires.

Yes, does look excellent. The wheels are a very close match to what is on my Porsche Cayman S (19s), so of course I like. Did you do the suspension?

I dropped the front 2", but that is all. (edit - A 1.25 inch drop)
