Hello,
My carwings is working normally except on July 27th I am no longer receiving charging complete emails. The car is set up properly and carwings is too. In fact, if I add text messages, they arrive as expected. Just the emails suddenly stopped.
Anyone else having this issue?

Interesting...my charging email stopped two days ago, although I was also playing with Carwings in the car 2 days ago as well. However, I don't remember changing anything that has to do with the email alerts, although I did play with other info "from Nissan" options (can't remember which). I did "disable" the charging email alert, and then "re-enabled" it yesterday, so I'll see if this helps after charging tonight.

I used to have problems receiving any emails from Carwings at all, or even get driving history data on my Carwings account. I learned that there's a Nissan Technical bulletin NTB-11-041 for a firmware update to fix this problem. I took my Leaf in to the dealer to have it done, and everything's been working great since, including getting consistent IMs from Carwings on stopped charges. You may want to try to do the same thing since you've been having so much problem with it yourself. It doesn't look like this issue affects everybody, so that's why it's not well known. But you can search for it on this board and you'll see threads discussing it.

My Carwings stopped entirely on Septemver 21, 3 weeks after I took delivery. I ignored it for awhile, because I live in an area with poor AT&T coverage (Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles). But when Santa Monica Nissan closed, I decided to check out Miller Nissan's service department and see if I could get Carwings going again.

I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. The service writer was a disappointment ... "What can we do for you today?" "My Carwings doesn't work." ".... ummmm ... What is Carwings?" I asked her whether I could talk to the Leaf specialist. She said "Any of us can write up a Leaf." So I politely asked to speak to the technician. She went looking and returned with the shop foreman. He took a look, and I demonstrated the problem ... hitting "Update Stations" always produces a "Cannot Connect" message, even though the dealership is located in what should be a good signal area.

He kept the car for a couple of hours; apparently disconnected the battery for awhile, and said he too some pictures of the display to send to Japan (nothing odd that I could see in the display, and the firmware diagnostic said it was current, according to his manual.)

They're supposed to call me when they know something.
