Hi,
so this is the best deal that I found in Orange County California for a 2013 Leaf S + charge package
it's for a 36 months lease with 12 000 miles per year:
$29 441
$2500 down and $224+tax ($241)

Let me know what you think

Thanks

2013 NISSAN LEAF S 4DR NONE

METALLIC SLATE , BLACK

Invoice MSRP
BASE $26,986 $28,800

CHARGER PACKAGE: $1,127

FLOOR MATS & CARGO: $132

SAFETY KIT: $63

50S $0 $0
50 STATE EMISSION

Destination & Handling Charge: $850

Marketing Assessment: $283

Total $29,441

Assuming the $2500 down does NOT include taxes, reg fees, etc. it is still comparable to the widely advertised $199/month $1999 down deal on a totally stripped out Leaf S, which does not include taxes. The $1376 difference in out of pocket cost (again not including taxes) basically pays for the options.

However if $2500 is true drive off cost I would say that is pretty good. Not a steal, but taxes and fees would normally add about $1200 or so to the overall cost.

After doing a bit of research, I found out that Nissan's $199/month $1999 down offer applies to a Leaf S with a Capitalized Cost (total price) of $29650 including options and destination fee. See if you can negotiate your car's actual Capitalized Cost closer to that figure.

yes that would be nice to get the charge package for free ;-)

Not here: It's more like $1900-2000 for taxes and fees.
$600 Acquisition Fee
$600 Tax on $7500 FTC/Rebate
$400 Doc, License/Registration
$300-350 First Month Payment which includes the tax

so I asked the dealer to be more specific about the drive off cost and he told me that the drive off cost is $2500 all included, so it looks like it is a pretty good deal so far.
Now I just have to find a buyer for my old car....
