Visor Extension grew!

One of my pet peeves with the 2011 was the ridiculously short visors. I was happy when Nissan added pull out visor extensions (not sure when but my 2013 has them). I have them on my 2001 grand cherokee (and they go all the way to the B pillar) and love them. What I wasn't so happy about is that they too were short.. Every day on my trip to and from work, I got the sun coming in the drivers side window and of course it's right in the spot in between the visor extender and the B pillar. I usually have the mail with me so I stick an envelope in the window seal to block the sun.

The other day I was driving home and realized something.. the extension was suddenly long enough to reach the B pillar!

Clearly something isn't right (and it takes some wiggling to get it to extend that far), but makes you wonder why they just didn't design it like this in the first place.

Tell me, does the 2013 LEAF have an illuminated vanity mirror in the passenger side from the factory? Mine actually came out of a '13 Sentra.

My 2013 SV has unlit vanity mirrors on both sides. I use it to hold my blink card. lol.
