Is that normal?
drees said:Depending on how that '11 LEAF was treated during those ~4 years and ~20k miles, no, it's not unusual.

WetEV said:Capacity loss is a function of temperature first. Sure, miles count, as does owner behaviour.
Don't trust the GOM (Guess-O-Meter) for any reliable data about battery / range connection.Henchman said:I woke up this morning with a full charge and a 48 mile range.
I got to work, about a 12 mile drive, and had 57 miles left.

If you can, get an ODB2 bluetooth adapter and an Android device to run Leaf Spy (or ODB2 WiFi and an iPhone??? That still in Beta??) so you can see actual battery percentage.
The Guess-O-Meter is notorious. ;-)

I have an android phone.

Mine doesn't have a switch either.baustin said:If you leave it plugged in when parked, it can drain the 12v starter battery.
Only lightly used LEAFs kept near the coast might have only one bar lost at this point, IMO.WetEV said:From afar, I get the impression that 2 bars down for a 2011 in San Diego is pretty typical. Better to use an extension cable.Henchman said:And you just plug that directly into the ODb2 port on the Leaf?
Actually there's a thread here for 2011 Leafs without any lost bars yet..drees said:Only lightly used LEAFs kept near the coast might have only one bar lost at this point, IMO.
