It will change to "Week oF". My guess is that they post "Month of" until its on the ship bounf for the US. Once it's on the ship, they have a better idea of arrival date and switch to "week of". (This is my guess; don't take it as fact.) In my case, it looks as if it will turn out to be about 2 months from when they loaded it on the ship at Oppama until my dealer delivers it. See the "tracking ships" thread it you want to indulge in further speculation.garsh said:Nissan finally updated my estimated delivery to say "month of March 2012" instead of "pending".
Below, there's a link for more information. It says "your Nissan LEAF™ is scheduled to arrive at your dealership within 15 days of the estimated delivery month shown. please be aware that it is normal for a delivery month to fluctuate as production is finalized." (emphasis mine).
Wow, I thought they'd be a bit better at planning & tracking the production/delivery process.
Does this estimate ever get any more specific?

mattami said:I'm in a Tier 4 state (DE), ordered 12/24/2011. Website said it would be ready week of jan 18th and dealer called jan 12th to say it's ready for pick up. There's only one Nissan dealer in DE that currently sells the leaf and mine is one of 2 on the first delivery.

After waiting and fidgeting for a year, and after reading KJD's message, I visited Mossy's website, picked the car from a list of 24 they had on hand and bought it! We have commitments next weekend and can't go get it, but we will go get our new black 2011 (with 11 miles on it) the weekend of Feb. 4th!
LOL so does that mean you will be fighting over the charger?KJD said:My wife and both drive the Leaf and she wants to know when can she have one of her own. KJD
