Anyone aware of Supercharger locations that have J1772 or CHAdeMO service onsite or nearby?

For bringing electric service to some remote locations, I have heard Tesla is looking to share the expense with governments or networks that are installing L3 and L2 stations. However, I don't yet know of any working examples of this.
The soon to be open Roseville, CA Supercharger has two J1772 Chargepoint stations elsewhere in the mall parking lot.

Thought I'd present a total of SC stalls at this point and update as necessary, 'cause it's getting way too tedious to type them all in repeatedly. The states are listed in the order they appear on the official web page, alphabetically but divided roughly west of the Mississippi first, then east. I've only included those which appear on the web page, leaving off some that are known to be open but not yet listed.

Edit: Per the 'Tesla Supercharger Confirmed' topic in the TMC forum as well as photos, corrected # of stalls at Hawthorne from 4 (as shown on Tesla's SC page) to 6, and also updated the Ca. and absolute totals from 12/77 to 12/79, and from 460 to 462.

Eau Claire, WI, with 6 stalls, and the temp site at Bethesda, MD, with 2 are now listed, so trips between Chicago-Twin Cities and Glen Allen-Newark are now doable in winter by S-60s.

As of 2/4/14, Yuma, AZ with 8 stalls is officially online. As expected, the rate of new SCs coming online has dropped off considerably since the X-C route was completed. While they don't have to maintain the pace of 23 SCs they brought online in January, Tesla will need to average about 15/month for the rest of the year if they are to meet the 'by 2014' map total.

As of 2/13/14, Pleasant Prairie, WI is listed and mapped, so 75.

As of 2/20/14, Las Vegas, NV with six stalls is listed and mapped. Nevada is out of alphabetical order because Tesla's Supercharger website lists alphabetically by state abbreviation, and I wanted to use the same order here. I wonder which location will get them to 500?

As of 2/24/2014, Aurora, IL west of Chicago with 4 stalls is listed and mapped, total now 77. No one knew about this one. One more location should get them to 500 stalls.

As of 2/28/14, Lone Tree, CO with 4 SC stalls is listed and mapped, total now 78 with 500 stalls.

As of 3/11/14, Plymouth, NC with 8 stalls is listed and mapped, total now 79. They were talking about opening one SC per workday this year, so they're well behind that pace since they finished the first transcontinental route. Who knows how much of that is due to the heavy winter, and how much to other factors.
As of 3/16/14, Green River, UT with 4 stalls is listed and mapped, total now 80.
As of 3/20/14, Buckeye, AZ with 8 stalls is finally online.

Totals updated to 28/81/520.

Las Vegas is 285 miles so still not possible, until St. George (for 85s) plus Beaver for 60s open. But they're getting close to eliminating the wholly unnecessary backtracking loop through SE Utah, into NM and then Arizona for people transiting, cutting almost 300 miles off the route from Grand Junction, CO to LA.

We are planning on doing exactly that on our vacation in a month. The westward trip will be easy as it is downhill. If another one pops up in the next month we may take the same route back. If not, we will take the longer path as I have heard there is some phenomenal scenery.

If you've never been through Southeastern Utah, i.e. Arches and Canyonlands national parks plus Natural Bridges N.M. and the Henry and LaSal Mountains, and the NW New Mexico area (Shiprock), then yes, you definitely want to take the longer route at least one-way. OTOH, SW Utah is home to Zion and Bryce N.P.s and Cedar Breaks N.M., so try and hit both. I'd say do SW Utah on the way out, and SE Utah and New Mexico on the return. Or you can just make a short detour south off I-70 westbound to Moab and see Arches and Canyonlands, then back up to I-70 and on westwards. You definitely don't want to visit these places in mid-summer, at least not for your first trip, as high temps are well into triple digits.

If you're time limited then I'd say be sure to visit Arches and Zion at a minimum; Arches always reminds me of the description of Martian glass cities in Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles", especially if you camp there, while Zion Canyon is sort of a 2/3rd scale Yosemite Valley, only in glorious technicolor. If you grew up watching Roadrunner cartoons you'll feel right at home, the colors in redrock country really are that vivid! :D

I don't know if you're hikers or what kind of shape you're in, but if you are in decent shape and have a head for heights and serious exposure* then I consider the Angel's Landing Trail in Zion a must! As a dayhike it's world-class, albeit not one to do when it's wet or windy as the trail is narrow with vertical drop-offs on each side, and the sandstone gets slick when its wet. Best to get an early start, as it gets very hot later.

*I once saw and had to step over a woman literally crawling along the trail beyond Scout Point spread-eagled flat against the rock, she was so terrified, but she wasn't going to turn around. I've felt safer on many Sierra Nevada rock climbs, as sandstone just doesn't have the solidity of granite. A lot of the chain handholds beyond Scout Point seem to me to provide more moral support than safety, because many of the pipe stanchions supporting the chains can be freely lifted out of the holes they're drilled in, as the sandstone just erodes away from the pipe.

How frequent are sand storms on that route? I am going r/t from the East to California in June, but would like to avoid destroying the finish on my new car.

Fairly uncommon IME. But if the weather forecast is for high winds you might want to slip your schedule somewhat. However, June is much less likely to be windy than spring but it will be plenty hot.

We are planning on doing exactly that on our vacation in a month. The westward trip will be easy as it is downhill. If another one pops up in the next month we may take the same route back. If not, we will take the longer path as I have heard there is some phenomenal scenery.
If you've never seen the red rocks country of eastern Utah you are in for a treat. If you have the time for hiking, the Needles District of Canyonlands is good for that. Arches can be experienced quite well by car — even better by bicycle — although there are plenty of short walks/hikes available. The southern portion of US 191 goes through Monument Valley, so often used as a scenic background for movie westerns. Those traveling through Grand Junction might also want to take a short side trip through Colorado National Monument.

Moab is day trip distance for me and is one of the reasons I chose to retire here in far western Colorado. High season for Moab is April and October, when it tends to be cooler than summer. I realize that when the supercharger network is fully in place most people will just blast along I-70 to I-15 and vice versa. But those with time really ought to visit the Moab area and drive though Monument Valley at least once. Putting supercharger stations in Moab and Blanding was a brilliant move by Tesla IMO. But I am biased.

While I am at it, I will mention that a good place for a rest stop on US 191 is the Kane Springs Picnic Area, 15 miles south of Moab. It is about a tenth of a mile north of the "Hole N the Rock" tourist trap. Don't stop there, go around the big rock and stop at the picnic area/rest stop. Clean restrooms and shaded picnic tables under large cottonwood trees in a grassy park. Tucked in among the red rocks, of course.

Thanks for the answer regarding the sand storms. The reason I asked is that you see a mild one in Tesla's LA to New York video. The aforementioned tourist trap is also featured, so thanks again. Many people will be sucked in because of the video.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, very much appreciated!
I just noticed that it's about 170 miles from Green River to Richfield via S.R. 24, so with an 85 you can get to Capitol Reef N.P. as well, i.e. you can make to all five N.Ps. in Utah. Unfortunately I just drove through Capitol Reef en route from Canyonlands/Natural Bridges to Zion, and didn't have a chance to spend any time there (but I want to!). I think it's pretty much a hiker's/biker's/backpacker's park, although there is a scenic drive.

As dgpcolorado alluded to, Moab is a mecca for bikers, especially mountain bikers. From Moab you can drive out to Grand View Overlook and see the confluence of the Green and Colorado rivers, but on a bike you can get closer. Bike rentals are plentiful - just google "moab bike rental". In Canyonlands you can get even closer to the confluence at the Needles Overlook.

Oh, yeah, if you go through/stay in Gallup, you can make a day trip east to Acoma Pueblo:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acoma_Pueblo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Alternatively, from Farmington to Blanding you could probably reach Mesa Verde (I haven't visited yet).

I concur on Monument Valley, and from Flagstaff or Grand Canyon you might be able to make Blanding via 89/160/191, if you drive slowly (249/253 miles, GPS Visualizer wouldn't give a profile). I see you can save about 10 miles by taking Indian Rte. 6731 which cuts off the angle around Tuba City, but I doubt it's paved. Or just take a day trip from Flagstaff to Grand Canyon, if you've never been.

And to help you decide what to visit, I recommend you get yourself a copy of the "Indian Country" Guide Map from AAA, free if you're a member and $4.95 if not (or for sale via Amazon). Out in Minnesota AAA may have to order it, but local Four Corners area AAA offices probably have it. In addition to the maps this lists and gives you an idea of what kind of things there are to do in most of the parks and other sites in the Four Corners area, essentially N-S between I-70 and I-40 and E-W from Kingman to Albuquerque, IIRR. The older editions were visually beautiful, but they've since toned the colors down and made the map slightly smaller scale, so it covers a larger area. The new ones may be easier to read because of the color, but the older ones were works of art (and I take great care of mine!). Not only that, but the map plays a fairly prominent role in the late Tony Hillerman's Native American mystery novels, so you can follow the movement of the characters on it. (Note: I'm a map junkie, so discount as appropriate to your interest).

It might be possible to get to Mesa Verde National Park on a Blanding to Farmington leg in an S85, but it might be easier as a side trip from Farmington. A complicating factor is the elevation change and the length of the road in the park, 20 miles each way, not counting side loops and trips. The high point on the park road is about 8400 feet and the main area (museum, Spruce Tree House) is back down at 7000 feet, meaning another 1500 feet of elevation gain on the way out.

So, Blanding (elevation 6100') to Mesa Verde entrance, about 91 miles

Road in park (highest elevation 8400'), 40 miles minimum, 46 miles with Cliff Palace Loop

Mesa Verde entrance to Farmington (elevation 5300') by shortest route, about 70 miles; longer highway route through Cortez, about 80 miles.

And having looked at the Indian Country map last night, I forgot to mention that you pass right through Petrified Forest going east from Holbrook on I-40, and furthermore that from Holbrook (possibly, 5,000 ft.) or Gallup (more likely, as you're starting from 6,500 ft.) to Farmington you might be able to go via Canyon de Chelly N.M., and then pass just south of Shiprock. Really, it's just an embarrassment of riches, and hard to go wrong whatever you choose to visit.

Yes. I do hope that people don't just do the I-70 to I-15 route and never get off the Interstate or visit the Four Corners area. You really have to stand under Double Arch at least once!

As of 3/25/14, Greenwich Ct. N & S with 4 each direction for a total of 8 are listed and mapped.

As of 4/7/14, Richfield, UT with 4 and Cranberry, PA (at last) with 6 stalls are now listed and mapped. Salt Lake City is 161 miles from Richfield, so easy in an 85 and doable with care in a 60.

As of 4/15/14, Beaver, UT with four stalls is listed and mapped. 85s going transcontinental westward can probably now avoid the detour through New Mexico and Arizona, at least in good conditions, but those going eastward will probably need to drive very slowly and carefully if they try it, as it's 220 miles and 4,500+ feet of climb from Las Vegas.
As of 4/22/14, Hamilton Township, NJ with six stalls is listed and mapped. They really need to pick up the pace now that winter's past, as the year's almost 1/3rd over and they've only been averaging about 1 SC/week since they finished the initial transcontinental route, instead of the 1 SC/workday pace they intended to achieve for the year.
