The wheel in my 2012 gets hot (damn hot!) in about 90 seconds, stays that way for about 30 seconds, shuts off, cools down to about 70F, and starts the cycle over again. Cycle is about 10 minutes.

I was curious about how hot HOT was.

118.4 F (look at the MAX reading)
Just FYI, OSHA considers temps of 107F and up "too hot to touch".
