Thank you!

I self edited:roll:

Am thinking now that I see the pictures, I would like the cargo organizer. No car yet. What is the best way to get one? Ask the dealer to tack it on so I have it at delivery? Or?

That organizer is sweeeet! By far the best of the accessory items (IMO).

The problem with it, as I see it, is it takes up the room that you could use for grocery bags and other similar larger items. And the covers aren't needed if you have an SL because the cargo cover comes with that trim. IMO, it's the worst accessory...lol. The best is the splash guards because they will protect the rocker panels. Anyone who doesn't have them will wish they did after their rocker panels lose a lot of paint.

The two compartments should be quite large - will easily take grocery bags. And this would be nice for Costco.

One thing to confirm. The organizer covers the entire trunk in width & length - right ?

Yes, it covers the entire trunk area...

The two top covers are lifted up to put things in it, and then you can put the covers back on if you want. The photo of my EVSE and safety kit just has the top covers set on edge to the rear.

So, to access the emergency stuff, one has to lift out the "organizer", right?

Good point gary...that means we would have to remove all the tools/kits inside the inner cavity and put them in the organizer?

Unless the design of those areas of the Leaf is particularly bad or Nissan paint is crap, I don't see it being a problem. In all the cars I have had over the years I have never had splash guards and never had a problem. Personally, I don't much like the look of them in general.

Cargo option is in EBAY for $175

The mud flaps look like they could possibly add quite a bit of drag.

Will the "splash guards" be available after delivery?
Yes - all the "accessories" should be dealer installable. All the "options" are plant installed.

On some cars, the Splash Guards come out of the accessory box unpainted. So if you buy them after delivery, you have to paint them yourself.

I doubt Nissan is doing that if these are port-installed options. For aftermarket, having them stocked in different colors could make it harder to find the right ones.

For these reasons, I added them to the order.

The Cargo Organizer -- that I'll get after.

Although with a Lease, it might work out better to pay full MSRP and get them with the car, since you're not paying for the whole thing?

Yes - I'm also thinking of asking my PD to add the organizer before delivery. That way it will go into the lease - so I get to pay a little less for it. I also don't pay sales tax on that (since EV is sales tax exempt here).

Gary if you want them installed and have put your order in without them call your PD and ask to have them installed.

I got my mud flaps added to my car after not ordering them and my car just came in on the ship today. I though did not call my PD I called someone else. Oops I called and ask him to add mud flaps, I did not call them "Splash guards" I wonder what I will get.

That's the sensor that makes your car alarm go off any time a Navy jet flies overhead or a Harley rides by.
This is great for people who's parked car wasn't getting enough negative attention.

Like last summer when the President made a campaign stop in Seattle. Some irresponsible Cessna owner didn't bother to read the NOTAMs warning of restricted airspace and flew into said airspace.

Two F-15s were scrambled out of the ANG base in Portland, OR (some 160 miles away) and told to "proceed with haste" (i.e., supersonic) to escort the offending pilot out of the restricted space.

Emergency 911 service went down with many startled callers reporting loud and mysterious booms all the way up the crowded I5 corridor overloaded the system. I can imagine many car alarms went off as well.

You'll get standard Nissan mud flaps, from the Titan lineup:

The mud flap are going to be dock installed and not dealer install. So I hope they will be color matched.

Great picture! Organizer looks to be well-constructed and sturdy. I would assume it is relatively easy to remove (i.e., just lift straight up and out?).

Can you tell me how much the organizer weighs (including lids)?
