hmm, i thought that Nissan did a passable job of obscuring the battery compartment making it less intrusive to the natural flow of a car. granted not as well as Tesla's pancake style battery but admirable.

this is "strange" it seems to take up a lot of space that could have been used for storage or passenger room.
