Just a bump that if you don't use carwings, it's very simple to fix any power drain problem from the tcu by unplugging it.

Since I don't use carwings, I did this on my car and I haven't had any 12v issues at all. I'm pretty sure my 2011 is still using the original factory battery.

The TSB has been revised at least once or twice.

I know of (revision b) NTB18-045b now. PDF is at https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10145516-9999.pdf.

From the bottom, it looks like the dealer can now claim tech time. When I had NTB18-045 done, my dealer charged $85 and had me take it up with Nissan EV support. After submitted Nissan corporate receipt for the $85 job, they cut me a check for $85. Back then, it was YMMV on whether would charge $ and how much.
