Downtown Nashville Nissan has 4 2011 orphans available if anyone is interested. Red, white and silver are the colors available.

Tempting... very tempting. I think I'll wait for mine to come in, which hopefully won't be long now. :)

Thanks for the heads up!

Cheers, Bert

Just in time for Christmas. Wasn't that nice of them :)
Yes it's going to be perfect if I get it before end of year. It'll be nice that something goes to plan at least LOL

Hey Bert,

Have you seen this?

http://timesfreepress.com/news/2011/oct/29/electric-vehicle-network-planned/
No, I had not seen it. I decided long ago that I would not do the qc thing because I was concerned about the effect on battery life. In the last three months I haven't driven more than 50 miles except on two or three days... And I knew in advance what those days were so I could easily take the ICE on those days. So I doubt very much that I would try to take the LEAF more than 50 miles away from my home base or from a regular charging opportunity.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Cheers, Bert

Thanks for posting that info. As a result I went to the Cracker Barrel in Gallatin today and the two Blink chargers are working famously :) An unfortunate location for one charger, it sits below a tree and the birds are making frequent deposits :)

I'll post photos and details on my blag alter this evening.

ANY available spot at Vanderbilt is "desirable" so the next step would be to have clear signage and enforce the rules (which their parking authority LOVES to do).

Yeah, they even have their own policemen :). Seriously, they do!!

Well I saw in a media clip http://www.insidevandy.com/drupal/node/18420 that Vanderbilt now has 9 more EV chargers installed, they were provided by Schneider Electric for free, but these greety suggers at VU are charging $1.00 per 1/2 hour and $10 for a Day parking at the charging station.

Looks like they, VU haven't made enough money on the new trend yet, at this point I will not support these jerks, so hopefully the rest of you Leaf owners will follow not to support people like this.

They're charging for the parking not the electric. At those rates I don't know how a student could use them at all. I don't see how *I* could use them at all :)

Vandy do have some free ones on 21st avenue. I put those into plugshare.
