Example (Rotolo has 3 or 4, as I recall):

Heck, I've been tempted myself, if I could get $10-11k in trade on my LEAF. Even more so if I could take the tax credit and get a rebate!
Also keep in mind that per http://www.chevrolet.com/spark-fuel-efficient-car.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, the ICE Spark has an MSRP starting at $12,170. I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay MSRP on a Spark. The ICE version has gotten terrible reviews, besides having not-so-great fuel economy for a car with its modest size and horsepower.cwerdna said:I'm guessing these aren't EVs, but rather the ICE version.
Spark EV does have optional Frankenplug... aka J1772 CCS aka Combo1 of SAE Combo.JeremyW said:No QC and only 3.3kW charging...

Are you not getting it? Spark (despite its electric sounding name) comes in both gasoline and electric versions. The pricing you're looking at is for the gasoline version...misterno said:I just custom build myself a Chevy Spark 1LT Auto
It comes with cruise control also
All for 15,920
I am not sure if this is before or after $7500 credit
I know that would be insane

Batteries are currently very expensive. Even at the prices the Spark EV is selling at, it's 99% certain that GM's losing $ on each Spark EV sold. They simply don't have the economies of scale w/their puny sales numbers (http://insideevs.com/monthly-plug-in-sales-scorecard/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false w/which to amortize all the costs (R&D, tooling, testing, validation, documentation, support, training, etc.)misterno said:GeekEV said:Are you not getting it? I see thanks
So the question is why is EV version is way more expensive?
misterno said:You know I am thinking
Maybe I should not include battery replacement cost
Toyota yaris is depreciating in value for a different reason
At the end they both depreciate
So the question is what is the resale value on an Ev?
It can not be miles cuz in Ev this means not much I think it is the battery health.
But in ice cars miles is the essence in calculating the resale
Can someone help me here?
