Hi,

First time posting, been reading for awhile. Looking to pickup a SV Lease with Charger/LED for 24mo/12k. Getting local dealer quotes in Southwest Florida and they are nuts! We have good credit and no problem with a down payment. They are offering $377 and $3000 down. That is outrageous! Best we have seen in last day was $250 and $3,000 down. Anyone that can help or have a suggestion. One dealer told us 24,000 Cap cost and 0.0022 money factor, which still comes out to that $250 a month and $3,000 down plus taxes. That's over $9,000. All the numbers I see on here are not even close to mine.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

Thanks!

there aren't too many leafs here in FLA, consider searching the dealers near Atlanta GA, they are loaded with inventory and they may make better deals. Ir would cost a bit over $500 to truck it down

Or you could drive it down with as few as three charging stops, if you don't mind making the trip at exactly 12mph.

Our local dealer here only has a couple, but something tells me inventory will increase over the next few months as Smyrna keeps cranking them out. The last thing you want to do is what I did, namely get in a hurry and overpay because you think the car will be hard to get in the future. Gas prices could easily be under $3 soon and that doesn't point to an EV feeding frenzy.

With U.S. assembly the stock of Leafs is going to be significant very soon and competition will help the consumer. I was at my dealer today in Everett, Washington and there must have been 40 new Leafs on the lot, probably more. I found lease quotes varied significantly, so shop around and if you can wait, do so.

Thanks everyone. Need a car sooner than later, but I will hold out as long as I can. Anyone have any Florida dealer contacts or anyone with VPP?

Thanks!

Try Orlando's Sutherlin Nissan, they have 10 Leafs last time I looked. They might be willing to at least give you a normal deal. Or maybe Naples Nissan who has 6 currently. Also Autonation (I have no love for them BTW) also has quite a few in there dealer network and seems more then willing to get one from another dealer. Frankly though the dealers in South Florida are just crap at best. Your just going to have to beat on them till you get one that will deal. Might be best if you can get a couple trying to underbid the other and then walk out of the dealership a few time. Best to start with internet inquires so to at least get hold of there Leaf specialist assuming they actually have one.

I'm not in a big rush right now so I can wait them out. This it because my first choice is, a Blue SL with the premium package, isn't available at any dealer in the state, or for that matter blue in any trim level. Want black with black leather (great choice for solar ovens here in FL) then no problem.

Good luck and let us know how you do. If you do qualify for VPP pricing then that is the best way to go.

I wouldn't get too wrapped up in Cap Cost and money factor if you are considering lease deals.

Down Payment
# of months times monthly payment
equals your total lease cost.

Evidently, as I've learned today.... the $395 Disposition Fee is mandatory. So that is factor to consider too.

good luck.

Oh yeah, I know. I was just floored. Thanks for the tips!!

For SV with QC keep getting offers around $2000 down including all fees and $200 a month. Around $6400-6600. How is that? Trying like 10 dealers. Tough.
