If you read in the Mods sub-forum there are a lot of threads about compatible spares, most of which are available on FleaBay for ~$50. I also got a 1.5 ton HarborFreight jack for <$40. I just made a pouch for it from left over packing foam sheet and duct tape, and it fits loosely in the tool compartment.

The best place to purchase an Altima jack or spare is eBay. You might also find them at a junk yard. For something you aren't going to use very often, paying for a new one isn't necessary. I got my jack at eBay ( AAA Auto Salvage Inc) for $35 shipped and it came with the tire iron and a tow eye (not that I needed another one of those).

After giving up on the new one, I got one from eBay for under $35 shipped from an '03 Altima. The funny thing about buying from a junk yard on eBay is I wasn't able to see the jack, but I could see photos of the wrecked car it came from.

The jack showed up pretty dusty, but I just gave it a spin and it worked without issue. My 2013 Leaf doesn't have the jack clips, but the space is there, so I just tucked it in.

Between this jack, the tire plug kit, and the included air pump, I think I'm mostly ready for a flat. I still plan to buy diagonal pliers to complete the kit.

This is the one I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-2014-Nissan-Altima-Sedan-Jack-/271611859896?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f3d5413b8&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And this thread shows how I installed a Spare and lost No trunk space: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=14081&" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the tips. Will check ebay.

Yes. It should work fine. And in my thread there is a calculator that will allow you to figure out what size spare you should use based on the size of your current 4 tires.

The wheel size does not matter. My spare is 16" and my wheels are 17"

The spare tire is taller and is exactly the same diameter as my 4 tires.

So a 2013/2014 Altima Jack will also work?
