If there are not charging stations check for RV parks along the way home. They often have 220v. Put a 220v plug on an EVSE to use it as a portable (that is what I did) or get your Nissan unit converted to use 220v.

But really I'd press the dealer to pay for towing to your house or to within battery range.
 
Warning, just putting a 220 or 240 volt plug on your not-upgraded in-car EVSE
will destroy it, since it was made for 120 volt operation only.

The above post was suggesting putting an appropriate plug (for RV park usage)
on a 240v rated EVSE.

Yes, totally true! Didn't meant to imply plugging your US standard non-converted EVSE into 220v.
