Does turning down dash brightness improve battery?

Just curious because it can get really dark or off all together. Might be in my head but seemed to help range out a little for me. Any input?

the power consumed by the back lighting system is so insurmountably trivial compared to any number of loads in the car it doesn't even need to be factored into the equation.
 
I sure wish there was a like button here, I don't have anything to add, but I love the last response...
 
It doesn't use the traction battery, so yes, it's all in your head!

All those lights and switches? Standard car battery.

Since the traction battery charges the standard car battery - it still affects range by a few millimeters -- unless it is an SL and the solar panel picks up charge from all the street lights to get those precious millimeters back. :D
