I'm planning to visit the Safari Park next week and know there are RV parking spots there. There are even LEAFs that have been known to charge in those spots, according to the following thread:

And here're the RV spots according to Google Maps Street View:

I just called the Safari Park and asked if I can park and charge my LEAF in the RV spots if I pay the RV rates. They said it should be okay as long as the space is available. But then she cautioned that there are only two outlets available and that they are both the "slow" kind and not "high voltage" (but she did not sound sure).

Does anyone have current information about being able to plug in at the Safari Park and if there are 240V (NEMA 10-50) outlets available?

Thanks!

Not sure about the WAP, but the zoo has gone the right way!

From the other thread, emphasis mine:

... It's actually a lockable subpanel with four breakers and four outlets. It had two 240v circuits and two 120v circuits. Hmmm, wonder what I could have done with one of those 240v circuits, if I had a modded EVSE? Next time I'm there I'll take a photo of the inside of the panel. Or is that a common RV hookup?
Now maybe he mistook a 30a 120v connection for a 240v connection, but...

FYI, I went to the Safari Park (Wild Animal Park) over the break and checked out the RV spots. Unfortunately, the panels were locked so I could not open and take a picture (ended up taking the gas car so did not pay for the RV spot, which, presumably, would have given me the key to that lock). There were no park employees nearby and the person at the park entrance did not know if there was 240V outlets there. So this one is still a mystery.

One tip though, there are several parking spots labelled "Hybrid" in the parking lane right in front of the entrance (I believe it was the lane with #3 on it). So you do have closer parking with the LEAF, even if there are no chargers.

For future reference: If they don't know about availability of 240V outlets, ask instead if there is "50-amp service". A yes would almost guarantee you a NEMA14-50R. :) If the answer is "30-amp service only" you would find TT-30 receptacles which provide 120V up to 30 amp with that TT (Travel Trailer) standard used by RVs. ( And do not confuse a TT-30 with a NEMA10-30 (240V). The look very similar. )
