I use Tony's cables with many of the OpenEVSE's that I build. His 40A cable is smaller than most 30A cables due to the doubled up line wires.

Currently I am using one at 30A.

IMO this is one hell of a deal! for anyone interested in a low cost L2 EVSE who is OK with it's 16a limitation I just don't see how you could go wrong. Personally I'd have liked it if the EVSE also did 120v(@16a) and if it did I may have purchased my 4th! EVSE(for 2 vehicles) but for those who don't care or it isn't important I just don't see how you could go wrong. Add to that this EVSE has a 25' cord, WOW!
