So the 1 to the right of the capacity bars display (near the top) has always been 1, and the 0 near the bottom has always been 0. Do these #'s change with capacity loss? SOC has no affect on them. Do the 11's and 12's have the same #'s, (as well as the 14's and 15's)? Why are they there? I would think that the 1 should be an 11 since its just above the 11th bar or am I missing 1 digit? Is this just another useless instrument display? Any thoughts?

IF you are referring to what I think you are, the numbers are just 'faux binary' symbols for "Full" (1) and "Empty" (0).
If that's the case I'm sure glad Nissan threw them in there, I never would have figured out that "full" was on top and "empty" was at the bottom.

And you'll notice that the 12th bar is above the 1 so they want a degraded battery to look like it is near the faux binary 1 even after it has lost a bar or two.
