Hi Tony... I am glad you are finding the Prototype v2 of the SOC meter useful. It was a collaboration between lincomatic, myself and garygid. I have a revised set of boards on the way with new features like auto brightness and adjustible contrast. I would love to hear your feedback when you finish your trip...

If I am looking at Google Maps correctly, Tony might be charging at Cardinale Nissan in Seaside.

I tried these first:

Lovin' it!

Tony, you'd better plan for some serious headwinds in the next few days. Predicted 15-20 mph NNW at Eureka with gusts to 30 mph through Tuesday. I'm guessing that it will be similar all up the coast. Enjoy!

Ok, so far, I'm impressed. Is there a way to make it smaller overall, yet larger screen? Color and contrast are great in all light. No buttons is awesome. I supposed an SD card slot to record data would be nice?? And a much lighter, thinner cable (ya, I know, probably not easy).

Finally, I like the amps (or kW) to be displayed like a typical aircraft gauge, with the digital stuff in the middle, and an analog display surrounding it.

You guys need battery temperature..... that is just too huge and important for serious range missions, like last night in Big Sur. I knew if that battery pack had gotten cold, I was gonna be walking !!!!

Fun trip so far, and I really, really appreciate this tool.

Is that some sort of weather data "gibberish"?

Gibberish? That's "real" weather talk there, fella !

Here's how to decode it:

Tony, thanks for sharing the video with us. This is the second vid that I've noticed your Leaf is in D. Is that because you were short-hopping through So-Cal or do you always use D? Thanks!

He likely turned off the unit at the meeting spot, but before it could record the next track point.

Thanks for the video log. Keep the clips coming. Great to see the OC support group. :D

But, Kendall, "The Filmer", clearly added the personality.
Love her commentary. What a great trip for her to experience.

"It's a Crayon!" Be so lucky that 10 yr olds can so easily be amused and entertained. :p
