Looks like Nissan is buying out NEC and selling the whole thing to a Chinese firm, including the TN battery plant. Reuters says their info is coming from Nissan directly.

The article mentions a new VP overseeing the Leaf program global. Not sure if that's Palmer himself...
CARWINGS should have user-definable groups. Besides the Regional and Nationa groups, it would great to compete in the "MyNissanLeaf" group, the DFW group, the Arlington, Texas group, the "Mac users group", etc.
I received a UPS letter package from Nissan today.
It contains:
A letter explaining the package.
Four 7" x 11" cards-
Card 1 has the LEAF's color options. with 5 actual 2" x 3" paint chips and a swatch of the interior fabric
Card 2 is an interior photograph with a brief write up on the back...
I received my "home charging assessments now available" email today. WooHoo! However, when I log into my account, I don't see a way to schedule the appointment. ARRRGGGGGHHH.... Did anyone else get the email? If so, were you able to make an appointment?
