CARWINGS should have user-definable groups. Besides the Regional and Nationa groups, it would great to compete in the "MyNissanLeaf" group, the DFW group, the Arlington, Texas group, the "Mac users group", etc.

Definitely. A company I was part in the i-boom did this with a social-exercise tracking device (Sportbrain). As soon as we introduced group-tracking capability to our website, people jumped on it, forming local associations for banter and competition. It was a key part of the experience for many.

i agree. its unfair to group people from so many different areas and driving conditions. i prefer to see how i stack up against Olympia area drivers only that way i can see if i am better or she is (there are only 2 of us, but that is subject to change very soon!)
