So, owners what range are you getting ?

I am at about 203 GIDs (Leaf DD). Mileage ~ 59,000 on my 2011 Leaf. Lost 2 bars. First bar lost around 34k, 2nd around 40k. Round trip commute is 54-55 miles. GIDs left after commute ~ 50-60. Can get home with 10-14 miles left on guess-o-meter. This winter, I might be going to LB every day.

    Passenger airbag disabled

Worked perfectly for my 2011. A glass installer had disconnected and reconnected a harness in the driver's side door and the airbag warning light came on after that. The flashing light drove me nuts and I feared the worst plus a trip to the dealer. I think I did the restart 3 times so I missed...

    12bar charge on 11bar capacity

Inevitable. Like death and taxes! Here's to your 3rd bar loss by the end of summer ;-)

    12bar charge on 11bar capacity

OK. So the indication is a 100% charge on the remaining capacity. Got it.

    12bar charge on 11bar capacity

    Couldn't locate a thread related to this... Has anyone seen a 12bar charge with a 11bar capacity? I have no updates done to my Leaf. http://www.flickr.com/photos/59522027@N08/11316425974/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

    Blink QC charging fees

Why do you say you don't know how much you are going to pay? If they charged $2 to connect and then charge $1 for every 10min or 10c/min, how difficult is that to calculate? You are most likely pay much less than the $5 for a boost charge. It might be different at locations where you are using...

    Blink QC charging fees

So here's what I get this morning from Blink... Looks like they didn't bother to listen to the overwhelming need to have per minute charging or some variant of that. I will not be using Blink DCFC until they change their policies. --- Fees for DC Fast Chargers are coming to your area... San...

    2 years 12 bars

Near 29,000 miles, 12 bars. Most charges are to 80%. Used to charge to 100% in winter, which I don't think hurts at all if done just prior to driving. Weekday commute is 55 miles round trip, 80% freeway. There is some elevation changes that I have deal with (Sunol grade). I live in one of the...

So, owners what range are you getting ?

I am not sure how to say this clearly, but the bottom line is if the coasting speed costs you more in drag than that can be got from regen, then it is better to regen. At lower speeds when drag doesn't have as much an impact, it is better to coast. In stop and go traffic, it is better to use...

    Blink QC charging fees

I needed a quick charge so I could extend my range by 10-15 miles or so the other day and another Leaf was charging to 100%. The thing was sitting at 92% for a long time and I had to get back to work. Luckily for me, he gave it up soon after that. I told him it was not good to charge to 100%. He...

So, owners what range are you getting ?

I live in the East Bay (Pleasanton) of the SF Bay area. A bit hotter in summer and bit cooler in winter than the San Jose and South Bay. Similar to Concord/Walnut Creek temperatures.

So, owners what range are you getting ?

I don't charge to 100% unless I plan to drive over 70 miles. Winter, I would be down to 1 bar or 0 bars with the GOM flashing at 6 or 7 miles. But then I don't drive over 60 mph for the most part. I can safely say that I haven't seen battery degradation in ~25,000 miles.

So, owners what range are you getting ?

I get very similar numbers. 10th bar about 3 miles with an 80% charge. Round trip commute is 55 miles, come home with around 2 bars left.

Pros and Cons: CNG vehicle ownership vs Nissan Leaf ??

Yes, for sure. Have replaced an injector already - very expensive. The LEAF is almost free to drive as far as I am concerned. The CNG has better range for the times I need it which is few and far between.

Pros and Cons: CNG vehicle ownership vs Nissan Leaf ??

I currently have a 1998 Civic NGV and the LEAF. The Civic was my commute car until the Leaf came along. With current price of CNG and gasoline in my area it is about the same cost to drive the NGV versus a hybrid like the Prius. The advantage of course is that the single driver NGV can use the...
