You have to calculate if it makes sense for you to buy it out. I would think something less than 6k maybe even 5k. I effectively paid $7,750 for my 13sl with 27k on it if you subtract the payments I no longer have to make. If that helps you gauge it any.

You can go to any. I leased my car in CO originally. Bought out the lease in OH. I believe they do have to verify the mileage for dmv paperwork as it is just like buying any other car.

All it would take is some decent testing. Fail, no DL and you get to take public transport or have to have an autonomous vehicle. The people that don't drive well are probably those that would love someone to drive them around so they can selfie the whole way and would self deport anyway.

I used it in the LEAF. It seemed to pick up when the vehicle was on but it never reported mileage or anything else. Same device worked fine in the vehicle I traded in on the LEAF so I know the adapter worked fine.
