That sucks a bad dealer makes everything difficult. Might just tell them you have carwings connection problems. There is a TSB issued for that. They should just give you the reprogram.

The fix is out for certain tcu firmware versions. Not all dealers got the program card yet. I have mine. If you need the update pm me and I can give you more info.

That would be the equivalent of an ICE cars check engine light. I would get it to a dealer soon.

After checking some of the recent cars we have had come in there is a small black plastic cover on those. I would be curious to find out what the production number is on cars that have them vs cars that don't.

As of right now the AutoEnginuity will read all standard control modules on the CAN line. The only thing it will not do right now is EV specific modules. As long as the update comes out within a year you will get it for free. It would be worth the purchase price now just to be able to program...

Nissan wont let those Consults out of there control if they can avoid it. You can get the AE software for a laptop or a pda and from what I am told have the same functionality as consult III+. Also the higher end OTC and Snap on scan tools will give you some access but not much.

As of about 20 mins ago there is no firmware update available for the carwings issues. I will let everyone know as soon as I have better info.

Byproduct of using a ABS sensors to read speed. All the speedo knows is that the tire is moving. Same signal in forward or reverse.

I will add though that this is a temporary fix. Also make sure you wait the 5min for the VCM and BCM to fully power down or you will set false codes in several systems.
