I've been trying to not look at a Smart Car or Prius, because I am dying to get a new car (especially something that runs on as little gas as possible). Yay! Another Leaf sold. Congratz man! :D It'll be interesting to see how everything goes in March, if we start seeing the Leafs coming in fast then we know the Estimated Dates are all probably close to correct.

I do think Nissan should continue selling car in Tier 1 states, then Tier 2 states, but Nissan should also accept Reservations for the "Forgotten 36" states, as well. I don't think us in these states expect to see a LEAF anytime soon, if not till 2012, but I am hoping that I can at least have...

I do know Nebraska is one of the leading states when it comes to Natural Gas. I imagine we would be one of the "Forgotten 36" that can handle an electric car as well.

Probably good for us "Forgotten 36" Leafers. I know living in Nebraska I will NEED a cold weather package at some point or another. I have to make a Reservation first (whenever that might be), but maybe it will have a few perks?! :lol:

Hopefully within the ORdering process they open up the Reservations for the Forgotten 36 :-)

Here in Nebraska we already have a $75 a year extra tax for Hybrid cars. Surprise :roll: I, personally, think us EV/Hybrid users should be given a TAX BREAK for our responsibility.
