Condition of 2012 Leaf Battery

Mon Mar 15, 2021 7:43 pm

Just wondering if someone could lend me a hand to interpret these stats please?

It's a second hand Leaf I'm considering buying. I used a dongle to gather these readings.

Bat Stats: AHr= 48.85 | SOH= 74.47% | Hx= 52.75% | 386.58V | 1.31A | odo= 12,820km | 815 L1/L2
Bat Temp: Max 25.7 Min 24.4 (1.3) // 12.96V 2.59A
SOC= 75.4%

I'm concerned with how much life is left in the battery and how fast it will degrade from this point. The current range is about 100km which is fine for me.

Thanks in advance!

Is it a private party sale or from a dealer lot?

The SOH number is equivalent to remaining battery capacity, so assuming no monkeying with the battery stats took place a few months ago, it has 74% remaining capacity. That battery can degrade rapidly, though, especially in warmer climates. I'll link my used Leaf buying guide shortly.
