Not sure where this might be covered, but does anyone know how the Ignition Relay is commanded and operated?
i'm wondering if it might just be energized momentarily during the "key button" press-to-turn-ON sequence, or if it is turned ON and stays ON until the car is turned OFF with the button switch?
One of the VCM wiring diagrams shows that it is located in the IPDM and receives power and return from a CPU based upon CAN buss signals to the IPDM.
