Anyone know anything about this adapter/mod, which would let you pull the full 19kW from a high end Tesla destination charger?

I don't see how that gets around the 27.5-amp limit of AC charging on a Leaf. I believe the circuitry for that charging is inside the big unit under the hood (not part of the J1772 inlet). So unless he opened that unit up he's still limited to 6.6kW of input power (240VAC X 27.5A).

EDIT: SageBrush beat me to it.

From the comments on the gogo page it seems he intends to add additional onboard chargers in parallel. But don't worry, your warranty is "SAFE". Lol.

Exactly -- he doesn't

I read his advert, it is clever in a Fenix kind of way. He says that he has never gotten more than 5.1 kW on his LEAF (I presume 24 Amps at 208 Volts) before but after his great invention (of using a 40+ Amp EVSE at 240v on an appropriate circuit) he gets 6 - 7 kW. Meaning 27.5 Amps

Genius !
