Forward Emergency Braking

Has any other member had a problem with the Forward Emergency Braking suddenly cutting in for no apparent reason? It's a 2019 Leaf Tekna. I've seen reports of these problems with other Nissan's especially in the USA. The Leaf is sometimes mentioned but these complaints are several years old. I would have expected Nissan to have sorted it by now.

The brakes on the leaf have been grabby even going back to 2011.

I don't think he's talking about that. He's talking about emergency automatic braking that didn't exist on gen 1 Leafs.
