With Bolt taking a 5k msrp haircut, do you think Leaf will for the 22 model as well?

That's a great point too, unless the Leaf offers some substantial advantage, the new Bolt would significantly under cut it in terms of price?

What would the Leaf Plus need to do to remain both cost and technologically competitive?

https://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/hom ... sales.html says "Bolt EV and the Traverse, had their best first-quarter retail sales ever. Bolt EV retail sales were up 60 percent".

It points to a deliveries file showing 9,025 were delivered in the US during Q1 2021 vs. 5,873 for Q1 2020.

I know why, people are leasing them for about $130 a month including taxes and fees.

I've also heard GM's CEO use that/a goofy pronunciation. It's possible that the video's pronunciation is correct for that area or maybe it's a Michigan "accent"...

edit: https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/ ... 737438002/ confirms the video's pronunciation.

Looks like the update is here/here soon for recalled Bolts (all '17 to '18 and some '19 for possible fire risk).
https://www.chevybolt.org/threads/the-2 ... ere.38311/

Still no growth beyond 19 docs at https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2017/CHEV ... WD#recalls. Maybe it'll show up in a few days there?

I'll be busy w/work the rest of the afternoon/evening so I won't be able to monitor developments for awhile.

Will be interesting to see if there will be a sudden glut of used Bolts pop up for sale since at that point, the stop sale will almost certainly be lifted on Bolts w/this update applied.

https://my.chevrolet.com/how-to-support ... ltevrecall has been updated. What's on NHTSA's site is still behind and stuck at 19 docs.
