Hello all,
I tried digging around the boards and could not find any discussion on this topic. I was interested if anyone had any information on the progress of the electric highway expansion project. Personally I have been following the electric highway web cite for quite some time.
I was interested in the I90 project:
http://westcoastgreenhighway.com/WAelectrichighways.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This cite lists charging station's going into Snoqualmie Passage and Cle Elum in August 2012. I was wondering if this venture fell through or is delayed.
Lastly I noticed under the station's page:
http://westcoastgreenhighway.com/stations.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I might be wrong but some of the wording has been changed. " The ChargePoint America program will provide at total of 4,800 charging stations to program participants in nine regions in the United States who purchase Ford, Chevrolet and smart USA electric vehicles."
Does this mean that they are no longer offering EVSE's for Leaf.?

I-90 would be part of the EV Highway Project normally and the WCGH Project covers Highway 2 BUT there was extra money so it was expanded ( a good thing. the more the merrier)

Cle Elum has broken ground and should be on shortly

other thing, WCGH project is being handled by AV not Chargepoint

**edit** obtw; just to mention Cle Elum station is at Suncadia Resorts and "stretches" the " within ½ mile of freeway exit" parameter (about 4 miles) but hey, better than nothing!!

There was THIS trip along I-5 (in both directions) in June using nearly all of those DCQCs that were operational at the time.

Dave, please, more info on Cle Elum DCQC. Estimate for opening? 2012?

all i have is the link to the pix someone took. no info but looking like it will be on in a few weeks or less. now, every time AV turned on any stations they usually did them in bunches and i have seen no reports of the Snoqualmie station yet so it could be several weeks

If you have an idea for the address, I can leaf up there and take some spy photo's.
