It has nothing to do with brands, read the paperwork.
 
I expect it will be eligible for the credit when they put it on the list - hopefully soon since it's already entered production and will be in consumers' hands in a matter of weeks.
 
I find it amusing people even discuss silly details like this fully knowing the rebate will be available. As though there is some question whatsoever it won't because it is not listed there on an outdated page. Not to mention that the guidelines determine eligibility.
 
Never muck with the IRS, I think.

The IRS can decide to interpret the wording any way they want.
And, it is a real pain to fight them.

They say you have not paid someting.
You say that you have a picture of the payment check.
They decide to ignore you, and empty your bank accounts.
