I had something similar happen. I just started on TOU rates on a pilot program PEPCO is running in the Washington DC area. They've installed a dedicated smart meter only on my existing evse. The on-peak window is noon-8pm M-F. Weekends are completely off-peak.
I therefore programmed my charging timer, Timer 1, for the first time. I have a 2014 SV, which replaced a 2012 SL. The timer allows charging from 8:10 pm to 11:50 am M-F. I haven't assigned Sat or Sun to Timer 1. Bottom line, the car shouldn't charge from 11:50 am to 8:10 pm, M-F. Sat and Sunday can charge anytime.
Saturday about 2pm, I plugged it in expecting it to charge, but it was blocked by the timer, and I had to push the button that temporarily enables charging. WTF?
I'm new to using the charge timer routinely, anybody experienced this before? I've got it make it idiot-proof for my wife (that didn't come out quite the way I intended :? ), who would have just plugged it in and walked away, thinking it was charging.
