Ships in the Opama Nissan factory port

The auto carrier, Phoenix, has been docked at Opama for a couple days now. Its previous itinerary shows several trips back and forth to Kobe, Japan. Any ideas why? Could it be loading up the next group of U.S. LEAFs?

Haven't seen that one on this side of the ocean yet.

I've wondered if they might use some of these same ships to move parts around from different manufacturing places in Japan to Oppama in support of the various vehicles made at the plant.

Also curious about how many different ports are used by Nissan around Japan to deliver vehicles to their local customers.

That's what I thought, at first, but this ship is huge:

Is it possible that the frames of some of the Nissan's manufactured at Opama are made in Kobe and then transported there? I have no idea how vehicles are manufactured and how they get all the parts there at the right time ??!!??

I have been watching for the UNITED SPIRIT which is due into Los Angeles today but has not yet shown up on the map for the LA port.
