there is a little rust problem on the left front suspension.through the left wiper axle runs water directly on the top of the left front suspension, which begins to rust.do the US leafs have the same problem?

It's of no consequence, so long as you don't need to remove the strut!! I can't say if it is more common with a Leaf than with other vehicles, but lots of vehicles have this issue. If the upper suspension turret has no designed-in water egress, then moisture and any other sources may accumulate there.

I have this on my Renault Scenic - there are 'special covers' that are screwed on over the turret areas, and should be checked to ensure they are water-tight, but no-one ever seems to check these and they degrade over time anyway. If my car looks like it might be prone to this, as it is on the Scenic, I will fill up the whole of the cavity formed at the top of the upper suspension with axle grease. It's easy to scoop it out if you ever need to remove the strut.
