I will be in the Washington DC area for March and April. I would like to rent a Leaf for some of the weekends.
Does anyone know of a Car Rental company that rent Leaf's for the Weekend in the Washington DC area? How much does it cost? Were is it located?

In all my times of going to DC since I have been living in VA I have yet to see anyplace up there that rents Leafs. I know Hertz and a few others rent EV's in very select cities in California. There is an article saying Hertz added DC to their rental program as well. Speaking from personal experience be aware that most of the EVSE are Chargepoint network, and most of them are inside pay to park parking structures. I have never had an issue with one being blocked or getting to one, but just be aware that it is usually $10-$20 to park in one. Some of the stations listed on Plugshare are also in employee parking lots for Federal buildings and cannot be accessed. Luckily we were taking our Volt up there at the time.

Be sure to go by the Tesla store on K Street and go for the test drive.. That was an experience. :shock: Someday I will be able to afford one.

I rented a Leaf through RelayRides in Phoenix and it worked out fine. Try this one: https://relayrides.com/car-rental/ambler/nissan-leaf/27964" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Edit: Sorry, didn't realize how far the search expanded, that one is 130 miles away. It's too bad there aren't more Leafs on RelayRides (person-to-person rental).

A little later, I also have a leaf for rent in the DC are
