I've swapped 2012 seats and switches into my 2011. I'm still fussing with wiring, but have the driver's seat working. It's wired into a fuse that, according to the fuse box cover, is for seat heaters, so Nissan must have been anticipating moving to seat heaters. However, I discovered that the fuse location is not switched to only be on if the car is on. Last night I left the seat heater on, and (since the car was plugged in), I drained the 12V battery.
My questions are:
1) are 2012 and later set up so that the heaters go off if the car is off?
2) for those who retrofitted seat heaters into 2011s, do you have a solution to prevent the little problem I ran into?
Thanks.
