I wouldn't burn up miles by just going up a steep hill for a mile or whatever. That's nothing in terms of heating up the battery and is just wasting your precious miles. Hope QueenBee is wrong about the figures not updating unless the car moves, or that you can just get it to update by going back/forth on your driveway.
How many miles were on the car when it was first sold? Although I wouldn't want to pass 60K miles, you might be able to argue that you should get a pass for 60K + miles on the car at pickup. I really would NOT chance it, at this point. I can only hope Nissan powerwalling it, fully charging it, leaving it at 100% at higher temps and draining fully by running the heater at full for the next few months is enough.
