Don't limit your self to local sales.
In 6 months of looking up to 1,000 miles away I only found 2 prefect cars for the price I was willing to pay.
Perfect car number 1 had low miles was $8,000 it had a dealer installed brand new 2016 battery in it, but at that moment I didn't have $8,000 cash plus shipping from Houston, TX to NM in my possession. Definitely worth it imo. It didn't stay on the dealers website for very long.
Perfect car number 2 was $2,000 cheaper, had a 2014 battery installed but was 900 miles away up north. Got that one and im very glad I did.
The only cars I could find 240 miles or closer all had fried batteries, degraded range and no cold weather package.
