The time hasn't been set in stone yet, but will likely coincide with the Portland Farmers Market at PSU which will be from 8:30 am until 2 pm.

This is for cars only, I take it? I may attend with my Leaf, but I'd rather attend my local event (Latham NY) on my electric maxiscooter.

National Plug In Day is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.

Scoot on down.

National Plug-In Day event in Atlanta is at Atlantic Station Central Park area from noon to 5 pm on Saturday, September 28.

There are currently 60 Plug In Day events planned across the nation. If there's an event near you, please sign up to attend and also consider offering to help as a volunteer.

If there's not an event near you, and you'd like to organize an event for local EV owners to join in the celebration, there's still time to volunteer to organize an event.

Maybe I'll draft a friend to drive the Leaf over as well, and take the ZEV scooter/motorcycle myself. Especially if they have some 120 volt outlets available.

Looks like this year it's finally come to Kansas City!! Both MO and KS LEAF drivers/fans can meet right there at the State Line @ Kaw Point Park by the riverfront. :D Just click on the "down" arrow at the bottom of this page for directions from east (Missouri) and west (Kansas):

This is for anything that plugs in for power. We will have electric bicycles and electric scooters at our event in Nashville. Segway's and home conversions are also welcome.

I'll bring my toaster!

O.K. I've signed up for the event in Herndon, VA on Saturday, September 28.

But I will say that I ran into the same issue that I had last year with this event. We live just a bit beyond the round-trip distance for our LEAF, so we need to charge somewhere. Unfortunately, the event websites around here do not seem to make any mention of the availability of EVSEs and/or chargers at the event. To me, it seems like a glaring oversight for an event for electric vehicles and it was the main reason I did not attend last year. If you want to encourage more participation, please let us know what charging infrastructure is available at each event. TIA!

BTW, I have found out from other websites that there are two L1/L2 Chargepoint stations at this location. Does anyone know if these are located in the parking lot where the EVs will be located for the event?

Madison, WI Plug-in Day event scheduled for September 28th (Saturday) from 10am-2pm in the parking lot of the east side Hy-Vee grocery store. Come join us!

You can register at pluginday.org

If you are within driving range from Syracuse, please consider joining, I secured a very nice indoor location.
