Madras, OR DCQC?

Just saw that there is a DCQC indicated in Madras, OR on plugshare. (actually, it looks like it's in 2 different places). Not a whole lot of info about it, though. Anybody know if it's actually up and running, or is this just the site that was selected by OR DOT?

Wondering myself.

Unfortunately, plugshare has a history of false-positive DC reports, though I notice it seems to have cleaned up quite a bit recently.

I'd like to remind everyone with a DC capable BEV using plugshare to post or update the DC details.

Unfortunately, since most sites also have L2, you often see multiple positive AC ? charge reports, but have no confirmation of the DC charger's status.

Hmm... ODOT doesn't list an address for the Madras DCQC, so I'm thinking it isn't installed yet. Keep a watch on the Oregon Electric Vehicle Association Facebook page as they usually post when a new DCQC goes live.

Well, there's also a DCQC pin at the casino in Warm Springs as well, on plugshare.

I can't imagine that ODOT approved all 3 of those sites for DCQC, given their relative proximity, so I think some well-meaning person un-intentionally (I hope) did everyone a dis-service by listing all 3, without any concrete info about any of them.

Hey, if ODOT approved all 3, that's cool. I just can't really see it happening.

There's also one in Mill City, OR that has started construction.

No word on estimated completion, but good to know that things are moving along.
