L1 or L2 for battery life

What is better for battery life, L1 or L2 charging.
Five days a week I charge at work from 5 bars to 10 bars (80%) in a sheltered parking structure. I can charge that L1 for free or L2 on a blink for about $2-3 a day.
Which is better for battery life?

The C rate is so low on both that it makes no real difference, particularly with a 3.3Kw charger... Some have actually even claimed that L2 is very slightly better...

No difference in battery life. You use maybe half a kilowatt hour more of the parking structure's electricity if you charge on L1. You make it harder for someone else to get a quick boost if you tie up the L2 charging station all day. Those are the two factors I would consider.
