Does anyone know which dealerships in San Antonio, Texas will honor the lease special listed on Nissan's website? I am looking at getting either a SV or an SL?

Thanks in advance.

exact same boat here in SA, got an email from world car on 35 that they didnt have any. Just started looking. Do u know any specific dealers that dont have any? Austin might be our best bet, but we might not make it back driving it. :lol:

It is possible to have the LEAF transported. Depending on how much you save it may be worth it. I paid $750 to have my second LEAF shipped from the Houston area to Colorado back in March.

I would look in Austin as you suspected. Town North has 17!

You can make definitely make it if you stop somewhere to charge up. Plugshare.com shows a charger in Kyle and at San Marcos Nissan (which actually has one Leaf in inventory).

Thanks for the info! Liza Smith at Town North gave me a call, she is the Lease specialist over there. Looking like this might be a possibility, OP you should give them a call.

Post or PM me with your experience if you end up leasing from Town North. I will probably be doing the same.

I bought my wife's Nissan Rogue from Round Rock Nissan last year, and I wasn't very happy with the buying experience.

I have leased 2 2011 Leaf SL at Town North and have been very happy. My salesman was Anthony Monteleone but Dana is the Leaf specialist. Let me know if you need any info.

I appreciate all of the advice. I've actually found that most of the dealerships have several in stock. Ancira Nissan has 4 or so. The problem that i've been having is getting a good lease price. Have you guys found a good dealer in San Antonio that will offer a lease price. There was dealer in particular that wouldn't even honor the Nissan USA lease special.

Check out Texas Direct Auto in Houston, they have 3 used Leafs in stock.

Better look at their reviews. I have read and seen a lot of horror stories on that dealer.

In addition, a used Leaf would not qualify for the "official Nissan lease special" that the OP is looking for, for two reasons:

1.) The low lease prices rely on the $7500 Federal tax credit which is only for new cars;
2.) NMAC does not lease used cars.

You might be able to find a bank that will lease a used car, but as the "official" lease is already $199/month, and many folks have gotten even better deals than that, I don't know why you'd want to lease a used car that probably already has a degraded battery.
