FedEx plug in delivery vans

My FedEx guy pulled in today and had a surprise to show me. He says max range is 100 miles but the routes are usually 35-45 miles a day. J-1772 plug but he didn't remember the battery capacity. His experience with it over the past two weeks has him actually considering a BEV for personal use.

I know right? He says in dense areas like the South Bay most ground trucks will have only about a 40 mile average route but they can be stopping at every other address.

Those old-school diesels probably make converts out of many drivers who get to try something clean and quiet. They also have manual shift, IIRC.
