Perhaps test the new sensor and see if it working properly. I've had new, out of the box parts not work from the get-go. Was watching a youtube vid from Scotty Kilmer-- he had a couple new alternators not work.
I had an abs issue on a '01 durango-- the light wouldn't go out after I replaced the front driveshaft. Disconnecting/reconnecting the battery solved the problem. If it didn't go out, I was just going to drive it anyway, because I knew that everything was mechanically sound-- it's rear abs only.
It's because of crazy stuff like this that I prefer driving 20th century vehicles. Best of luck.
