I have a 2015 Leaf. I own the OEM floor mats, both fabric and plastic versions. Neither cover the dead pedal. I'm trying to find an elegant solution to the problem of dirtying and wearing down the carpet on the dead pedal, preferably one that doesn't require me to drill any holes, which some dead pedal covers do.
During the year that I've owned the Leaf, I've avoided putting my foot on the dead pedal, but I've noticed discomfort on longer drives. What's everyone else doing to protect this area?
