Cleaning the steering wheel

My 2014 has the leather steering wheel (not sure if they all do..). Who thought of making a nearly white steering wheel I don't know, but while my job isn't *that* dirty,the steering wheel is clearly pretty gross after 7000 miles. Much dirtier than my 2011 got after 3 years. But the 2011 was plastic so it was easy to clean.

Any suggestions on how to clean the leather?

Use warm water, and mild soap.

Don't use any harsh cleaners as it can take the dye out of the leather, or cause it to dry out and crack. Most of the dirt on there is just that; dirt. You don't need bleach or any other "professional" cleaners.
